2017 Ferrari 488 Spider
A True Ferrari
This 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider does, indeed, subscribes to the conventional view of what colour a Ferrari should be painted. And, at the same time, the original purchaser made very thorough use of the factory-option catalogue, fitting the car out with numerous carbon-fibre parts. Those include the rear air-duct, fig-lamp surround, side air splitters, items of exterior trim, the interior central bridge and the driver’s zone with its LED shit-lights.
The interior options don’t just stop with the carbon-fibre, though, and this car is also fitted with the factory yellow-faced tachometer, bright red seat-belts, electrically-operated seats, Cavallinos stitched into the headrests, coloured floor mats with logos and contrast stitching in that fabulous Rosso Corsa.
Even that wasn’t the end of the option-box ticking process, and the Spider is also fitted with the factory sports exhaust system, adaptive headlights, front and rear parking cameras, matte-grey alloy wheels and the suspension lifter to take into account urban hazards such as driveways and speed humps.
All In One
Of course, none of those fitments dilute the spirit or the performance of the essential 488 Spider they’ve been applied to and, with a folding metal roof for security, a twin-turbocharged V8 for performance and a Formula 1-inspired dual-clutch transmission for sporty convenience, this car would appear to have it all.
Features include: Adaptive front light system, yellow brake calipers, carbon-fibre options, coloured seat-belts, sports exhaust, suspension lifter, navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, electric seats, parking cameras, matt-grey alloy wheels, yellow tachometer, front and rear parking sensors, selectable drive modes, paddle-shifters, dual-zone climate-control, passenger-side instrument display.
