2018 Bentley Bentayga
Luxury Family Car
Bentley’s entry into the burgeoning SUV market stands as proof that a recreational vehicle doesn’t necessarily have to compromise on luxury or on-road performance. In fact, the Bentley Bentayga foreshadowed a raft of high-end SUVs from other makers, keen to tap into the same combination of useability and practicality while still offering the elements that make them what they are. And in the Bentayga’s case, those elements are style, performance and an almost indefinable sense of occasion.
This example is finished in Bentley’s classic Moonbeam silver with an equally classic take on the black interior theme. Although it has travelled less than 400 kms, this car is highly specified from the factory to incorporate many of Bentley’s optional packages. Among them is Bentley’s City Specification which adds to the already imposing list of safety and driver aids park-assist, pedestrian warning, a top view camera and traffic sign recognition.
True Seven Seater
This car also features Bentley’s Touring Specification that adds a head-up display, lane assist and traffic assist while the Sunshine Specification gains electric blinds for the rear side windows. The interior is further optimised with contrasting stitching on the factory over mats, stitched emblems, dark stained walnut burr trim, a hands-free kit and drilled alloy pedals with matching footrests in the rear seat. And there’s not just one row of rear seats, but two, making this car a true seven-seater.
Turbo V8 Power
Power comes from the efficient twin-turbocharged V8 petrol V8, married to an eight-speed automatic transmission and driving all four wheels for added safety and ability.
Features include: City Specification, Touring Specification, Sunshine Specification, Black Specification, tow bar, carpet over mats, stitched emblems, seven-seat layout, burr walnut trim, mood lighting, hands-free kit, red brake calipers, battery charger.
