2018 McLaren 720S Luxury
Go by MSO
McLaren Special Operations (MSO) is McLaren’s bespoke division. It is where very special cars built by hand on the McLaren production line are transformed into truly unique automotive masterpieces – like this 720S Luxury finished in Amethyst Black with tan leather trim – the only one of its kind in Australia.
Amethyst Black traces back to the McLaren P1. The purple-black colour is mesmerising and well suited to the contours of this beautifully sleek coupe
The MSO signature is also evident from within the cabin with the bespoke MSO carbon steering wheel in matte finish contrasting superbly with the beautifully stitched Bridge of Weir tan leather.
It’s a no-fuss and no-frills interior, yet unmistakably luxurious and with plenty of panache.
The 720S’s trademark dihedral doors are bespoke and complex in their own right, but McLaren engineers pushed the boundaries by incorporating the glass roof panel atop the window door frame. The glass roof panel itself is known as Gorilla Glass – light and strong and formed with multiple layers of compressed glass. The design also provides more head room. Very clever stuff here, folks.
Masterful technology extends to the twin turbo V8 which resets the benchmark for performance and power with 527 kW on offer. The slick aero shape and formidable charge will get you to 340 km/h if you choose to do so.
So sharp and precise is this 720S it looks like it’s been formed by a surgeon’s scalpel. It is one of the more special cars offered on Zagame Collection.
Special featured include: Upgraded 10 spoke lightweight stealth alloys stealth, lift system, rear camera, parking sensors, interior carbon upgrade with MSO carbon steering wheel, Gorilla Glass roof, Bowers & Wilkins sound system, Bridge of Weir tan leather.
