2019 Aston Martin Vantage
Aston Martin's new thinking
The new Vantage marked a big change to Aston Martin’s sports car thinking as much as it did mark the arrival of an all-new grand coupe boasting the latest in design and engineering flair. It was the second model to debut under Aston Martin’s ‘Second Century’ rebirth.
Taking on the Germans
The intent was clear – create a true British grand tourer with plenty of swagger that could also take the fight up to Germany’s best in a bare-knuckles performance car stoush. A big, bold move by Aston Martin, but the Vantage has already landed a few body blows into the Porsche 911 and its more precocious AMG rivals.
This brawny two door has been artfully specified and includes many, many options – the striking Stone White body one of them. The 20-inch forged black alloy wheels tuck beautifully under the guards, with the abundance of carbon-fibre in polished form providing a nice midpoint for the exterior colours in play.
Interior with Verve
Red brake calipers give a hint to what the inside theming might be. Prise the doors open and red stitching provides plenty of verve throughout the sumptuous interior, the highlight being eye-catching red thread for the inner seat sections and along the centre console. Red seatbelts provide the finishing touch.
Features include: full carbon-fibre exterior pack, glass carbon-fibre roof, quad exhaust pipes, dark chrome interior jewellery, contemporary leather trim, heated Sports Plus seats with 16-way adjustment and embroidery, Aston Martin premium audio.
