2017 Lamborghini Aventador S
With a 6.5-litre normally-aspirated V12, all-wheel-drive and its bold silhouette, there’s no mistaking what the Lamborghini Aventador S is all about. But for this model, Lamborghini also added four-wheel-steering to maximise stability at the sort of speeds of which this car is capable. This particular example of the Aventador S has just 2,350 km on its odometer and presents absolutely as new.
And when you consider that the V12 puts out a mighty 544 kW of power and a monstrous 690 Nm of torque, you can see why that would be important. The Aventador S V12’s 11.8:1 compression ratio, 48 valves and dry-sump lubrication all point to Lamborghini’s quest to make the engine a real-world powerhouse with a racing feel. Selectable drive modes, seven-speed automated manual transmission and 20/21-inch centre-lock alloy wheels complete that persona.
The original owner specified this car to the highest standard and every factory carbon-fibre option was added. That extends from the engine-bay trim to the suspension bracing, the body kit and even parts of the interior.
The rest of the interior, meantime, follows a theme of half-leather, half-Alcantara with contrasting stitching and piping for added effect. Lamborghini’s premium `Sensonum’ sound system is also fitted to this car.
Front, side and head air-bags, Bluetooth connectivity, traction-control, stability-control, brake-force distribution, climate-control, keyless entry and start, bi-Xenon headlights, auto wipers, navigation, tyre-pressure monitoring.
