2018 Pagani Huayra Coupe
Inspired by Da Vinci
The ultimate fusion of art and science. Created by Horacio Pagani (Argentinian founder of Pagani Automobili), who was inspired by the seismic talents of Leonardo Da Vinci – a man who could bring together creative and mathematical disciplines to create breathtaking masterpieces. And so the Pagani Huayra comes to being.
In an automotive environment where tighter legislative influences loom as large as storm clouds and threaten to squeeze the soul out of the automobile, history will show Pagani hypercars as the antithesis to conformity and a beacon for unconstrained automotive expression.
A collector’s piece
A Pagani is not a car to be assessed by its kilowatts or acceleration times alone – although it is a leader in both. It is about owning a collector’s piece, a remarkable jewel or piece of fine art that is set to appreciate by virtue of its exclusivity and defiance.
The Huayra is the current offering from Pagani and pushes the design envelope to razor sharp edges. Its carbon fibre body articulates like a Transformer to reveal the intricate mechanical mastery that lies beneath. Gull wing doors exclusive to the Huayra also expose an interior that is both daring in design and rich in colour. But it’s just as easy to be blown away by the most miniscule of details, such as titanium bolt ends engraved with the word Pagani which only the trained eye and a magnifying glass will pick up.
Each Pagani is painstakingly hand built and takes four months to create and global production is limited to around 35 units per year.
Zagame Automotive will accept expressions of interest.
